Compelling proposition you make.
That's a great, relevant point. Thanks for the top notch thread.
It really wasn't a troll post. tweakboy has posted so much shit that listening to him is completely pointless. How reputable are those sources...? I've never heard of them.
Either ignore or don't, but don't be troll.

I can only assume it's from these two stories, (since the link in the link mentions it, but refers to a Fudzilla article which 404's).
One of these stories is 2 months old, the other is 5 days old.
http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/01/nvidia-brings-a-dual-gtx-470-prototype-to-computex-causes-power/This appears to be about the ASUS card that has already been covered elsewhere. I doubt this is a product that's going to be coming from all AIB's. Still very interesting, can't wait to see the numbers coming from one of those.
i got a proxy authentication prompt from a java popup on there, and when i went to look at what it was, firefox gave me a "known threat warning" page instead of the page it was supposed to be. looks like there could be some form of malware running on that page for sureAnybody else getting weird popups and attempts to access Media player when they click on Tweak's link? I love Tweak, but this might be a ban-worthy spam thread.
I LOL'd @ the last sentence: " that'll use a lot of power"
I hope its $400,the HD5970 is around $650 which is lame.
