nvidia scaling help

Hi, i got a DVI cable yesterday and when i plugged it in, scaling using the nvidia panel work but today everytime i choose a setting then click apply, it just goes back to "use NVIDIA scaling", what gives?

What driver are you using? And please dont reply "latest".
