I don't think it has been confirmed, but gpu-cafe seems to be pretty sure about it.

Is it enough? If the HD4890 ends up roughly as fast as the GTX216c, with 512mb ram, and costs the same, then Nvidia has something pretty competitive, and will spoil ATI's launch, just like ATI did with the GTS250.
This isn't enough of a pricecut to compete with the $149 HD4870, or is it? What's the word on the HD4870's 1GB anyways, did they also see a $50 pricecut?
Loving these times, chances are my HD4850 is getting passed along, to be replaced by a HD4870 in CF. (mobo only does CF)
