NVIDIA RECALLED 6800 ULTRA

I ordered a 6800 ultra only to find out that this board is not available. Does anyone know what the problem is? Looks like NVIDIA fell on its face again!

a Recall?? pffft doubtful. maybe to what stores have instock which is slim to none but certainly not what people actually have bought. Also where did u get this info from?

I heard the heatsink is made of magnesium, so one spark and your case will go up like a torch!

Plus, the thermal paste is made by grinding up live kitties and puppies!

No there is no link. Cyberpowersystem just informed me that NVIDIA recalled the 6800 due to problems with the GPU. That means all of card makers that use the 6800 GPU will get a recall also....
Cyber told me that no one is to know... What gives with that???
NVIDIA fess up , what gives here???

who is cyber power systems does this ean my 6800 GT is to be recalled too because it uses the same GPU?!?!??!!? OH NOES!!!!

If you don't have any proof, you don't have any case, guess what flag i'm raising?

-besides, the 6800 ultras are already out and fully functional, what "problems" are there with the GPU?

-BUT WAIT THERES MORE! homepage don't you think they might announce something like that?

if "no one is to know" why would they tell you?

A bit surprising if nV was able to keep a complete recall secret from AT, HardOCP, ZDNet/CNet, etc.

Aside from ATI fanboi BS, more plausible than a recall is that CyberPower did something like sending out remarked GT cards as Ultras and is now trying to make good or cover it up. Or like Atomicus says they're going to get it back and resell it higher.
