nvidia question?

I have some questions about Nvidia graphic cards. If a card uses Nvidia chip, does that mean I can download the server from Nvidia.com website and it should work well on that card, eg, the linux and win2k drivers? And where can I buy some graphic cards made by Nvidia? I searched several websites, but no one has it.

Thanks,

If you have an nVidia based video card then yes you can use the Linux/Win2K/Win9x drivers off of www.nvidia.com.

Also nVidia doesn't make retail cards, they make the chipset and send if off to manufacturers who then make the cards (ie: Asus, Hercules, MSI, Gainward, Creative). So you won't find cards made by nVidia.

Here are a few places that you can buy nVidia based cards from:

www.newegg.com
www.mwave.com

Hope this helps.
