NVIDIA QUESTION!!

ok, so if i have Anti aliasing (spelling?) set to 4x in the nvidia control panel, should it set it to off in my games, or 4x? will settign it to 4x in games yeild lower fps or will turning it off override the 4x setting in nvidia cp?

Control panel settings over-ride game settings. Set the control panel to "application-controlled" if you wish to do it the other way. :)

turn it to "application controlled" in the CP and "off" in the BF2 settings, or just "off" in the CP

I want 4x. I want to know if i should set it as 4x in cp and off in bf2 or or just do app controlled. cause i like having it on 4x for everyting, but what do i set my apps for?

Set it to application controled in the control panel.

Then select the type of AA of AF you want inside the game menus once you play.

They will then be applied.
This will be the standard for 99% of games because they have these settings inside the ingame menus.

I just normally force 4xAA/16xAF in the CP. Just set it and forget it. That way I know I'm getting 4xAA and 16xAF :)

Also, I turn on Gamma AA and TRSS :)

Most games that have the settings in game I would choose application in the NV/ATI Control panel and actually have them set in game.
For games that don't have them built in is when you want to force them through the control panel.

Me too, but some games don't apply AA when you do that, so you have to set it in game.
