I have a HP XW8400 workstation that came with the NVidia Quadro FX1500 card. It is connected to a Dell 2407WP-HC dual display. While recording video directly from the screen, I notice that there are horizontal lines that move across the screen. I cannot see these lines in normal view. The monitor is set at the default 60hz and recording at NTSC 30 frames per sec should not be a problem using an LCD monitor.
The video recording works fine on my laptop LCD, as well on one other computer that I checked (low end, no graphics card). I also connected another monitor to my system and same result.
So it seems like the issue has something to do with the graphics card? Could it be that I got a faulty card? Or is there anything need to change with the setup?
Thanks for your help!
