nVidia problems?

I just built a new computer last night. I'm using the Asus A8N-E mobo, A64 3800 and a Geforce 7600GT.

For some reason when I boot up, I get a message that one of my SLI cards has been removed.

I have tried updating drivers from nvidia to fix this, but it seems that EVERY file that I download from nvidia is corrupted.

My computer is having stop-errors caused by drivers, and it randomly reboots. I think it's the nvidia, but I can't be sure.

Does anyone know what the heck is going on?

Sounds like the weird Forceware issue where it shows you have SLI disabled even with one card only.
There's a registry fix out there if you google IIRC.

But as for all the corruption, you might wanna check that your RAM is okay.

Run Memtest or maybe SP2004 to make sure it's not what's causing the corrupted downloads, reboots, etc.

It's only files from nVidia that are corrupted...I can download from other sources! Is anyone else having this problem, and if not, can someone send me an email with the newest drivers?

ALso, is anyone else having Steam issues? Can't seem to connect, but the Steam tester says my firewall is fine...
