nvidia portrait mode: tearing while scrolling?

I have a nvdia 9600gt and while it works fine in landscape, it has an annoying problem with tearing in portrait mode when scrolling.

This problem is present in both win xp and windows 7. I am using irotate (http://www.entechtaiwan.com/util/irotate.shtm ) for screen rotation. I previously had a radeon 9500 and it does not have this problem.


Do the newer cards still have this issue? I would like to get a shiny new nvidia 560ti but I definitely won't if it still has this issue.
