I downloaded the 93.71 drivers a while back and never reinstalled the coolbits registry hack for overclocking. Does it still work with the new control panel?
it depends if you are using vista or xp. vista will only let you use the "control panel" thing with no overclock settings. in xp you have an option to use the classic side bar thing and it does have overclock settings. another way around this is to download nvidia ntune and it will allow gpu overclocking in the new control panel. that is what i use in vista for overclocking my 7900gt...
I hate ntune (never installed it) and I hate the new CP.
These programs let me do what I want without having to use that CP.
I still have to go in the Nvidia CP to adjust settings like monitor settings and the dvd playback stuff but thats pretty rare (set it and forget it kinda thing for those).
