nvidia or EVGA for best overclock chances?

I'm upgrading to a 2080 ti RTX graphics card. I'm trying to choose between an nvidia founders edition or an EVGA XC Ultra Gaming. Any ideas which would have the better chances for higher overclocking?

I will be water cooling the board via an EK water block and custom loop, so EVGA's warranty seems better suited to this scenario?

I'd look into the problems first to try to make sure you get one that won't die a quick death.

I was going to wait for the EVGA 2080ti FTW3. But, I was impressed w/ the review over at Hard Forums on the Asus Strix 2080ti. I then got a notice that the card was available at Newegg... bought it yesterday.

EVGA customer service and their top tier performance keeps me buying their cards.

Yes, know what you mean...

Got the Strix 2080ti yesterday from FedEx... leaving it in the box. I'm hoping someone can do a performance review on the EVGA FTW3 (when available) so I can have some comparison between the two cards. The review of the Strix at Hard Op was nearly gushing w/ praise.

No EVGA '11G-P4-2487-KR' 2080ti FTW3 cards have been sighted, correct?

My podiatrist pulling out a fungus-killed toenail is less painful than this process.

Just sent back the Asus Strix to NewEgg.

I am now officially on the 'back-order' list everywhere, which means nothing.

The EVGA... '11G-P4-2487-KR' (FTW3 Ultra) .... The one no one has ATM.

100% Silicon Lottery.

I've had Pascal FE cards in the past that could OC to 2166MHz and EVGA FTW cards that couldn't do more than 1925MHz.

You can't go wrong with either card. Best quality of all the contenders, imo.
