For Win2000/WinXP

I am at school right now but i will test when i get home. People at Guru3d say they offer VERY nice performance gains and better IQ.

Post all scores in this thread.

They not only didn't help the WMV HD issue but exacerbated it :( Running fullscreen causes serious distortion/IQ issues with MP10 and MSI PowerDVD 5.1, Haven't tried gaming or benching yet.

Why are you jealous? You know the beta is open from now until thanksgiving right? You can download it too.

Though 2.5 gigs through bt takes about a day and a half.

I uninstalled the old driver and I still have the folder (61.77) with files inside...how do I go about wiping out all of the old driver completely? I'm just really anal about leaving old things behind.

Just Uninstall those are installation files you can just delete them.

DIII: TimeDemo 1 Precached: 46.8 with Current Config up from IIRC 44.6.

Modest Increases, but it is rumored that it is much more significant for you Geforce 6 users.

It sure as hell didn't improve my HD video playback any. :|

These drivers suck ass! I went from 61.77 to 66.93 and my Doom 3 performance took a nose dive. :| I'm going back to the tried and true 61.77s.

You have to be one of the only ones that DIII took a nose dive for. I know HD wouldn't improve but DIII should. I would double check that everything is configured properly because everyone is seeing the same or better performance in DIII.

Well dude, I had the same issue with the 66.83s (as others had too) and it looks like it hasn't been taken care of in the 66.93s.

How do you KNOW HD wouldn't improve. People have said that the video processor was working now. Apparently it ain't.

BTW, I have a 6800GT.

People have been saying that since IIRC the 65.41 or something like that. And it hasn't. I knew it wasn't going to work because Nvidia already stated that there was a HW problem with the encoder decoder chip, that is why only the 6600 and 6200 series support it (because they have the second revision).

Hmmm...just installed these. In Doom 3 I gained 6fps at my max resolution of 1280x1024 (60Hz). Far Cry & UT2K4 seemed about the same I guess...those don't have built-in benching programs and I'm too lazy to get fraps or whatever lol. Full Spectrum warrior was more or less the same, however loading times increased by a good amount...which is annoying.

IQ wise, it things seems a bit more vibrant or something to me...even though I don't have Digital Vibrance on.

I played the "Step Into Liquid" video and no change...but I think I need to install something else for that also? Like NVDecode or something?

That's about it for now.

OMG they finally updated their site.

I wonder if the DEP + A64 + UT2k4 issue is fixed.
