NVIDIA nic problems on my A8N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard

I am running Windows XP on an A8N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard with onboard Marvell and NVIDIA network cards. Until this morning, I had the Marvell nic disabled and was connecting to the internet through my router just fine.

However, when I turned the machine on this morning, no internet connection was being established through the NVIDIA nic. I power cycled my modem and router to no avail. I've tried repairing the connection and installing and reinstalling the NVIDIA drivers for the nic, but those didn't solve the problem either. (Instead, I'm assigned an IP of 169.*.*.*, which is apparently Windows saying it can't find a DHCP server.)

On the other hand, I am able to connect through the onboard Marvell nic when I enable it. I've tried connecting while running an Ubuntu 8.04 LiveCD as well; once again, I can connect through the Marvell nic but not the NVIDIA nic. (I tested this both with and without the router connected.)

So as it stands, I'm unable to see my own network, much less establish an internet connection, with the NVIDIA nic on my A8N32-SLI motherboard. (I am however able to ping 127.0.0.1 when connected through the NVIDIA nic, which seems to suggest it can see itself.)

Any ideas on solving this would be greatly appreciated.
