Nvidia new Detonators 40.41

Well Nvidia has anounced new beta drivers for their products.(Beta humn,remember that)

The new driver as acoording to them diliver a great performence increase upto 25%.

well i tried the new drivers with 3dmark 2001 SE.

Great performance on WinXP.

But it contains bugs man.How many times my system just helds playing a game or running some DVD.

They introduced nvidia keystone and this thing is stupid what do you want to rotate the image with 50%

loss in performance.(humn 50 %).

Well all you guys up there if u have tried the new Detonators and found some bugs please report them

here
 
Overlay controls no longer work. My videos are too dark under the new drivers.

Used the new Detonator 40 Coolbits. There's a new refresh rate tab under Direct3D that allows you to set the refresh rate for each resolution. That completely borked my UT2003.
 
Most games look a lot darker then if I use 30.82 drivers,image quality even at desktop to me is not that good with 40.41 drivers compared to the 30.82 drivers,only had one game that had weird artifacts in D3D mode at 2x Anisotropic filtering(Might & Magic 9),it was ok with 1x Anisotropic filtering.After few weeks of testing 40.41 drivers I`ve gone back to 30.82 drivers because of reasons above.
 
I have been using the 40 drivers ... and have yet to see a problem.. Played a lot of Battlefield 1942 without a problem... Only problems Im seeing are a need to upgrade vid card : )

Went with 40.41 last time I reinstalled Widowz, haven't had any issues at all. Not even with UT2003 demo knock on wood, even tho they say use the 3082. Plus, my 3DMark went way up, prolly bcuz I was using 28.20 or something B4...

Watch I'm gonna play UT2k3 and it's gonna artifact like indiana jones..

whoah that was bad wasn't it.. 😱 😀

I had problems with windoze media player at full screen, flickering alot with det 40, other than that, no probs, so I just went out and got a 8500 Radeon.....lol

Big upgrade from the GF2 mx400
