Nvidia motherboard - ATI videocard?

Hi,

can anyone tell me if I can use a NForce4 motherboard (with or without SLI) with ATI video cards (with or without Crossfire)?

Yes (but I don't believe it will support a 2 card Crossfire setup.) See my rig...

I think if you want to use the sli you need to use nVidia cards but if you only use one card then ATI cards work great.I have had two different ones without any problems.

I paired my NF-7S motherboard with an ATI Redeon 9800 Pro, they seem to be the best of buddies.

NF-7S is AGP mobo sir...OP was talking about PCI-Express.

I had a PCI-e GTO2 running on my EVGA NF4 SLI perfectly. You won't be able to do crossfire on an NVidia mobo, but you can run any single ATI PCI-e card with no problems.
