NVIDIA interview

Mostly business related questions, but this one is interesting:

<<
A: To ensure a sufficient capacity supply, Nvidia has indeed been searching for a second foundry partner. All the foundries, including UMC, are possible candidates for future cooperation. As our new NV25 core-based GeForce4 Ti series chips have started being manufactured on the 0.13-micron process, whether the foundry partner?s 0.13-micron fabrication process is able to pass Nvidia?s verification will be key to the company?s final decision.
>>

This means we might see .13um GF4's in the near future. Good news for overclockers 🙂

Sounds more like fall refresh to me 🙂

<< to consolidate our market share, Nvidia will keep its current development pace of launching a new-generation product line every six months.
>>

nvidia hasn't done that since the GTS came out in spring 2000. 2 years ago. and DDR333 support is nothing snice no OEM will pick it up until its jedec approved.
