Nvidia GTX 6-series run 3+ physical monitors?

I've not found confirmation of this question.

I have a GTX 570 and was disappointed to learn that it only can have 2 monitors connected at a time, even though it has 3 outputs.

I particularly interested in the GTX 670. (I'm only interested in 3 monitors for desktop use and gaming on 1 monitor.)

Yes they can. I think they actually supports 4.

I'm running 3 24" Acer 1920 x 1080 resolution monitors for a combined resolution of 5760 x 1080 with a Pny 680 GTX. I use EVGA precision for a slight OC and better fan control. Just got done with an hour of flying. Half with Microsoft Flight and half with Rise of Flight. Absolutely outstanding. Have all settings on high and fps are very smooth. Hookup was a cinch (I have an active displayport I bought for my XFX 6970) so the three monitors work well. I understand you can hook up the 3rd monitor with the HDMI cable that comes with most of the video cards. I'm sure the 670GTX is the same.

If you have 4 monitors connected, and play a 3D game, does it force the 4th monitor to go blank?

I currently have 4 monitors with an AMD card so I switch one of the monitors out with another depending what I'm doing.

Nope, it's not possible. If you using 3D you can only use 3 monitors.

Nope, it's not possible. If you using 3D you can only use 3 monitors.

Yes, the 3D will display on only 3 monitors max, but the 4th monitor can be used as an accessory monitor. Web browser, utilities, etc.
