Nvidia graphics drivers in MCE 2005??

Okay, so I'm trying to figure smething out. When I install the drivers for my 7900gtx I can't load into windows. It just sits there at the load screen with the scroll bar going about its business. When I boot in safe mode and do a restore back to before installing the drivers, I can load in perfectly fine. I've tried with all of the latest drivers from Nvidia's site... but to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestion?

ugh... was looking through some specs and noticed that the EVGA version of 7900gtx is MCE compatible, but the XFX version (mine) isn't. GRRRR.... I didn't realize this would be the case. Anyone have any ideas how to get around this?

Okay, so I updated to the beta drives they have on nvidia's website, and they do work, but it takes almost 2 minutes at the windows load screen to get in. It's rather annoying. I really hope that they come out with the appropriate drivers soon. Now, there is a slight oddity going on, though. When I do have the drivers installed, even though they are working (with the LONG wait unfortunately), I hear a click in my HD. It's just one click about 5 seconds into the loading screen, and it's definitely not there when I don't have the drivers installed. Anyone know what this is all about? Thanks.

Have you been using the MCE drivers or the regular XP drivers on nVidia's site? Try both, if you haven't already.
