I need to work with big textures 4K x 4K or more.
Is there any resources where I can find out what each NV chipset can support ?
Or do you know what the max texture size is on your NV card?

I'm using a single texture in my app, and its Linux based so I'm sticking with NVidia as their drivers work well for me...
Also advice on which cards can download fastest too would be a help...

Not an expert on the texture thing, but if its for work, you might consider an Nvidia Quadro card of some type. I heard they are good for working in CAD and OpenGL applications.

I'm sure someone in here knows the exact answer your looking for.
