Nvidia Gforce FX5500 Svideo with no color

Hi guys: Xubuntu 14.04, i have a Nvidia Gforce Fx5500 has DVI, VGA, Svideo ,i have it connected to monitor with vga which is good also connected a Tv to Svideo but all i can get out of it is Black&white,
before i had Ati 9000 series that worked great on SVideo.
i tried Debian wheezy it does same thing.
Is the any other Distro that i can try that could support this card?

It's probably trying to send a NTSC signal to a PAL receiver, or Vice Versa. Check the output settings.

Try all the AV channels of the television, on my tv one of the channels is black and white and the next channel is color if I use s-video.

Thanks guys but i had an Ati radion 9600 card that worked well with SVideo before it went bad,i should have gotten another ATI same card,but i wanted to try this Nvidia gforce x5500
but Lesson learned, never will buy Nvidia cars for sur again.

You also happened to pick pretty much the worst generation (FX) of NV GPUs in history.
