Hi..I'm planning of getting the New Dell XPS 15" with Geforce GT 435M card with 2GB memory.
I couldnt find any benchmarks for the card online? Could someone tell me how good/bad the card is? Thanks

Good or bad at what? Is this for multi-media or gaming?

GT420M is the entry-level mobile graphics, with GT425M & GT435M each a further notch up the ladder = low-end.

Look up benchmarks for the desktop GT 240 (DDR3 version). That will give you a close estimate of what to expect.

The nVidia GT 435M is a great midrange card for a notebook computer. If you are looking to do some gaming, school work, travel, etc.. it will be perfect. However, if you want to play bleeding edge games with all the settings turn up as high as possible, you would need to look elsewhere.

I am currently using a GT 210M and I can play most games pretty confortably on low settings, sometimes medium settings. The GT 210M is miles and miles behind the GT 435M.

Thanks guys for the response. Guess I'll be okay with the card. I use the comp for a little bit of gaming (mostly Counterstrike source)..and more for multimedia and school work.
@ RussianSensation: Thankyou. I've been following Anandtech for a very long time...but was too lazy to sign up :)

Also, when looking at benchmarks keep in mind the resolution of your future notebook screen. Many notebook screens these days are 1366x768 and many desktop graphics card reviews are run at much higher resolutions.
