Here are the benchmarks with the latest nVIDIA Drivers 355.98 Drivers on Windows 7 vs Windows 10 for 3DMark11 and 3DMark:

3DMark is not a game. No game in the world is or will be based on 3DMark11 game engine. Hence all 3DMark11 benchmarks are worthless for telling us how actual games will performance when moving from DX11->12 or older games under Windows 10. Since NV and AMD specifically optimize single GPU and SLI/CF profiles for major AAA games, and these optimizations are unique to each game, it makes 3DMark11 scores even more worthless for trying to extrapolate performance of games under DX11/12 in a Windows 10 environment.

So, don't worry about it and just enjoy your games.

Uh...what?
Since when did anybody claim 3D Mark was a game?

I found this information interesting...I never thought to test to see if there were any differences between OS's. This seems to confirm that in general 3D applications should perform roughly the same all else being equal.

Haha yeah I'm not too sure what the point of RS's post was, just to rant? :\

It looks like the graphics scores get better with Win10, but the physics scores go lower. I think that means the GPU got better, but the CPU isn't utilized as much.

Or, as you said, it is all within the margin of error... But the increasing graphics score and decreasing physics score seems consistent.

It provides a point of reference. I usually run 3dMark to see if my system is running as it should by comparing the score to similar systems. It's a lot harder to gauge performance based on games because each reviewers have different ways of benching the same game.

With 3DMark, I can compare the score and get a general idea if my system is running ok because the benchmark is static. There aren't that many variables when compared to gaming benchmarks.
