What is the best drivers for the 6600GT AGP? Is there even a noticeable difference between drivers?

Even better: XG Modified 81.94.

Why? These have tweaks for better Image Quality (IQ) than the "stock" ForceWare drivers, with little-to-no cost in framerate (1-3FPS). If you're scared of modified drivers, then don't be. They will do NOTHING to harm your system (I can 588.9% assure you of that). All tweaks that one would do to enable extra pages in the NVIDIA control panel (CoolBits) are already done, and they're tweaked for Visual Quality to boot!!!
 
LOL, me afraid of modified drivers?? Anyway, are there any tips on how to get it tweaking right?

well..interesting..lets give it a shot... wish i had this news before i reformatted my puter yesterday and installed hte new forceware beta.......

Just follow the directions in THIS THREAD, and you should be just fine with the new driver 😉 . Give them a shot, your games will thank you 😉 🙂 .
