Nvidia GeForce 359.00 WHQL driver

And so it has begun. Can't find them on nvidia's site, says needs GE.

As far as I know, they were on nvidia and geforce when this thread went up. That's where I got them straight away. Hopefully it stays this way, while suggesting you need GFE.

I wasn't planning on updating just yet, but to verify if you needed an Email to update via GFE I just went ahead. Took less than 5 minutes.

At least they got the convenience aspect done right.

If you are using the beta version of GFE, yeah I think you need to log in to download the driver using GFE.

This driver may be the game ready driver for ACS, but ACS needs a game ready patch from Ubisoft. Graphics look good, and game play is not bad and smooth frame rates, but holy moly it is bug heaven.

You gave Nvidia your e-mail address?! Have they stolen your identity and emptied your bank accounts yet? 😱

Haha, I never once entered an Email to anything...no wait...to claim my Batman and MGS5 games, I did have to go through a few "register with the devil" type things.

But I had to do the same to claim my Dirt 3, Tomb Raider, and Crysis games from AMD.

Welps, I'm boned.

Due to the sheer unpopularity of the move though I can't help but think they'll cave to the pressure at least in some manner.

They know that they're effectively a monopoly, so they don't care. Unless AMD gets some marketshare back next year, they're just going to do whatever they want.

nVidia used to have a browsable FTP server, but I'm not sure it's still around. Linux driver users might know. I've been using Linux in virtualbox, so I've been out of the nvidia ftp loop for a while. The one I can find, the top level isn't shown.

Maybe changing the version number manually in the link above will work. *shrug* Depends on if they are moving the resources, or just not publishing the web page ui.

these latest drivers break the ability to overclock refresh rates. Even using CRU application doesn't work to add custom res/refresh.

What a load of crap.
