Windows 10 DSP latency is right down with his driver. The last driver had big issues with latency.

Installer causes a crash in Windows 10 while extracting if you use Kasperky. Never seen this before. If you extract manually with 7zip and run setup it works fine.

Getting virtual memory crash again with these drivers in BF4 in W10. They still obviously have not worked out all the bugs. Have not had this issue since the game launched with the early drivers in W8.1. Using Chrome x64 as my launch browser.

Yes I do and I missed that. I tried unpacking it with WinRAR and the very same thing happened and every time I reboot afterwards Kaspersky submits an error report. That was with Kaspersky paused so IDK.

Edit: I used my laptop and extracted the files to a flash drive and then moved them to my desktop which installed them without incident. The Kaspersky forum is littered with people suffering from this issue.

7zip works. Not WinRAR.

I don't have 7zip and let the NVidia installer unpack the files on my laptop for me. On my desktop I have WinRAR which failed in the very same way as the NVidia installer and bsoded my system.

Okay, if winrar BSODs your PC, you have a hardware problem I'm thinking. At worst, winrar could crash.

It's Kaspersky reacting to it. It's all over their forums. You have to use 7zip to unpack it. WinRAR or the installer itself fails.

Edit: It'll hopefully be fixed before too long. I've seen where Kaspersky is aware of the issue and should they need it they have contact info for Nvidia.

That was the very first time I've encountered a bsod with trying to install a new gpu driver. Hopefully they'll get it all sorted out before too long.

Just wanted to update my earlier post for the forum gazers. When BF4 was crashing before, I was also getting a 'game bar DVR' bar/pop up. Found out that was related to the Xbox app on W10. Not sure how it was getting crossed as I don't own an Xbox and was not using the app, but I used power shell to uninstall it and also reconfigured virtual memory manually from Samsung Magician to 200mb minimum to 2G maximum.

Game has been running fine ever since.
