Hi,

I have a Leadtek GeForce 2MX TV-Out card in a computer running Win2K. Everithing worked fine until I installed NVMax. After this, the card doesn't sense the connection to TV anymore, so I can't watch movies. Anybody have a similar problem/solution?

I'm running win2k, and I just got this card. I installed detonator 3 and it doesn't sense my tv out or my twin view. Anyone know how to fix this? I'm going to try the drivers that came on the CD, hopefully that'll work, but I'd rather use the Nvidia drivers.

I just tried using the drivers and the winfox program from the CD as well as from leadtek's website. None of them work.

Banditbanger, why did you have to reinstall windows? What did you do after reinstalling win2k to get this to work?

Well, I got some good news and some bad news for you.....

First the good news:
You can make the tv out work by choosing the option "delete device" in NVMax. After restart, windows will install the card again and it should work (no matter if the drivers are nVidia reference or Leadtek).

And now the bad:

After doing this, my computer started playing DivX REALLY SLOOOW (pauses during playback, sound and picture out of sync, ..). Nothing worked, I tried everithing and finally decided to reinstall W2K. Imagine my disbelieve when after a fresh install the DivX still didn't play smooth (TV-OUT worked fine). So I tried some things and finally installed DirectX media from an old CD ROM (couldn't find this on the MS site). This seems to have done the trick, I can watch my movies on TV again....

I hope this helps you....
