I have recently purchased an NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX400 video card with s-video out and have had some un-answered questions that I am curious about.

The first question is if it is possible, with this video card, to have both the monitor and TV going at the same time. The most that I am able to do is either have the TV or the Monitor displaying at one time.

My second question is that I have noticed that the TV is rather blurry, and when it is displaying anything the colors are all messed up in terms of there is alot of red. and I was wondering if it is just because it is a regular TV and just can't produce that much picture quality, or if it is a configuration problem. I have tried such things as changing and updating drivers as well as setting the resolution with no luck.

Thank you,

I'm no expert but in my experience with the geforce2 card I have (MSI Starforce 8831 geforce2 Pro 64 MB w/ TV out (nVidia GeForce 2 Pro)), it's either TV or display, not both. I also wasn't pleased with what I was getting on my TV monitor. But since getting a video projector a month or two ago I'm getting MUCH better results with the TV out. I guess I should be using the VGA out, though, but it's been a hassle to set up. Meantime, I'm not really making the connection often.

http://tvtool.info/index_e.htm that might help clear up the picture.
I have a geforce4 too, and it can't do two either, unless I'm mistaken. It's a radio button and you choose your PC or your TV. Can't have both.
