Alright...here's the deal. Whenever I get into a game...no matter what it is...Mech Warrior 4, Half-Life, Anarchy Online...you name it--After about 20 secs.-a min after the game begins to run, video freezes, but I'm still getting sound...? I'm on a 900 Athalon w/ 384 RAM w/ a Cable Modem. I have tried re-installing DirectX several times and have tried at least 5 different drivers including the newest 12.41 drivers which came out on 6/6/01. Is this familiar/how do I fix it?

Okay motherboard?? chipset?? what's the core of the athlon?? agp divider?? what brand of MX?? what version of windows??? what sound card?? what drivers for your sound card??

How the hell do I find my motherboard and chipset? And wtf is an agp divider?
