Nvidia Geforce 2 MX200 32MB: resolution not great

I have the above video card and the resolution on text is not great (kinda fuzzy and looks brownish in IE 6). Is it just a poor card? Not into gaming that much but wouldn;t mind running Star Wars Rogue Squadron occasionally! I think it likes 3D accelorator type cards as I have a Voodoo 4500 on another system.

Have visited the Voodoo site and downloaded the Geforce Tweak utility; have not installed yet.

Also, what are these Detonator drivers? Should I be running them instead? See hardware profile in sig, but running Win98 with a AMD 1600+ CPU (not OC).

Should I look for another card? WOuld like to spend $100 or less.

PS: The system memory is now 512 (Crucial DDR 2100).

Also the $100 is not a barrier, but I DO have to feed three kids and a dog!

This doesn't have to be a low quality card at 2D at all - what is your make? electronics quality varies.
What monitor are you using it with?

The maker is Jaton and the monitor is a Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 87TXM.
