The have their own reference video cards, but they only make the chips. As far as I know, you can't buy an NVIDIA brand GeForce 2 MX. VisionTek video cards are about as close as it gets to being an exact duplicate of the original reference design from NVIDIA.

may b u would want to wait for the next gen MX coz it will add support for 128bit ddr ram support. currently it only sports 64-bit ddr which creative is using and it lags behind other using sdram.

hi..

i see... hmmm so nvidia on provide the reference board for geforce 2 mx card.. no wonder i can't find any geforce 2 mx.. that was manufactured by nvidia itself.... hmmm i think my computer hardware supplier misunderstood between Nvidia Geforce 2mx card and the NVIDIA geforce 2 mx brand name... So its final then... no geforce 2 mx card under NVIDIA label..... i'll be back to that store and verify this with the owner... he try to sell me what he claimed as an NVIDIA brand name Geforce 2 mx card....same as Abit Siluro Geforce 2 mx card..

tq..

I hope he wasn't trying to sell you one of those cheap Jaton brand GeForce MX video cards--a mom and pop store speciality item. Did it come with a manual or driver CD?

hi..
competitor... i think maybe just have the cd.. i didn't inspect the card in detail because i don't really want to buy something without a clear verification from other end user. I especially like the Creative 3d blaster geforce 2 mx.... i just thought i ask for opinion and thought from others in here..

My System Rig:)

with your insights into the matter.. i'll be back to that store to check the card and see what he has to say about it.. :D

More than likely it's a VisionTek brand MX video card. VisionTek makes good video cards. I'm using a VisionTek GeForce 2 GTS and love it.
