Nvidia game streaming to devices other than Shield

So I understand Nvidia cards will stream H264 screen capture to Project Shield handhelds over WiFi Direct.

I have heard nothing about other devices being able to access this H264 stream over WiFi.

Theoretically I should be able to access the H264 stream using a laptop, no? So if I stream from a beefy gaming desktop, would I be able to access the live stream on non-Shield devices like laptops?

Anyone have an idea if this is possible?
 
You need a programm or app for it. On Shield the app is triggering the encoding process. Besides this it would work on any device which can decode h.264.
