Problem: When i install forceware 81.xx my media files work on windows startup but after an hour or so with the computer on, all i get is a blank screen and lag on top of the picture whenever i go through the menus. I've tried so many different drivers and nothing works perfectly for me. The 78.xx forcewares give me blue screens in games.
I reformatted and still have the same problem but whenever i uninstall the nvidia drivers all together, the problem goes away. That is what made me conclude that it was driver problems.

Windows XP
A64 3700+ SD
1GB OCZ GOLD VX
BFG 7800GT -------Using a 2005fpw w/ DVI
Audigy2 zs
Installed all the appropriate codecs: AC3, divx, xvid, matroska codec pack
Programs i've tried:
Windows Media Player 9, 10
Windows Media Player Classic
VLC Player
