nVidia forceware 66.93 1600x1200 DVI fullscreen video on 6800GT...

Does anyone else on a 6800GT or Ultra get serious interlacing problems, like little horizontal lines all over, when they try to view a DVD fullscreen? It happens to me in Windows Media Player or nvDVD, but not in Media Player Classic.

Sorry but that doestn fix anything.... ieven when playing divx or xvid full screen , my screen goes all screwy. Once i resize it 1 step less than full screen everything looks sharp again. It's bug in latest drivers.

That is a problem with the 66.93 drivers. I get the same thing and its discussed all over the nvnews forums.. Its really like the only thing that annoys me about this driver. I can't watch anything on my TV tuner on full screen or close to full screen 🙁

Wow, I had the same exact problems with full screen video with the 66.93's Try the 67.02's, they fixed the problem. I also found that outputting to VMR 9 would solve the problem.

I rolled back my drivers and installed 61.77 instead. There's nothing in 66.93 that I need that would be worth not being able to watch fullscreen video.

Geez, you think playing a DVD would be part of their QA testing before releasing drivers...

The 67.02s do not have this problem. They prefrom almost identically to 66.93s, but are not WHQL. I'd suggest giving them a try if you would like to fix the issue.

Thanks, I'll give those a shot.
