nVidia Firewall and Network Monitoring on Epox EP-9NPA+ Ultra

I'm using the nForce 4 Ultra chipset (EP-9NPA+ Ultra) with nVidia Firewall + ActiveArmor. It seems to work well. However, the only problem is that Windows Perfmon is no longer able to monitor network performance. That is, instead of displaying bytes in/out, it shows zeroes as if the PC is not connected. If I disable nVidia Firewall (Windows Firewall takes over), monitoring returns to normal. I searched through nVidia firewall settings but couldn't find anything to enable monitoring.

Does anyone else have this problem? If so, has anyone been able to fix it?

I was having all kinds of trouble with the nVidia Firewall and Net Monitoring..Was having your problem along plus sometimes it would just bluescreen my computer. So I just uninstalled it. Infact the only thing I still have installed from nVidia is the onboard network drivers since the IDE drivers blew too.

I gave up on it too. Just use windows firewall.

nVidia Firewall seems to work very well on my PC. Maybe your problems stem from the fact that you have both nVidia and Windows Firewall enabled on the same LAN connection.
My informal tests showed lower CPU usage with nVidia. So far I'm quite happy with it. It's just that this thing refuses to allow Windows Instrumentation (Perfmon) to read network performance data. It would be a shame to give up on it, especially since we all paid extra for that ULTRA board where ActiveArmor is a major (in not THE major) feature.

I'll try harassing nVidia about this issue.

Have you checked what ports you can open for the monitoring?, the firewall comes with a browser interface doesn't it?

I would love to tinker with the firewall settings. However, I'm a newbie when it comes to firewalls. I don't want to open random ports and expose my PC to the internet. Do you have any specific suggestions to try (or a link to some website that explains this port mess)?
