Sweet, I guess I better flash my bios before I start getting the data corruption issue.

"Sweet, I guess I better flash my bios before I start getting the data corruption issue"

i would not recommend flashing until they have released the non-beta bios update. ...
it's the ... if ain't broke then don't mess with it .. rationale :)

Bah, where is the fun in that?

I go by the "If it aint broke, break it, then you have an excuse to upgrade" rule ;)

Great! Now I can guiltlessly spluge $250 on an expensive motherboard that is probably not necessary for me! Cool, I'm excited.

The fact that they are admitting it and are hot on it makes me more confident. The 680i chipset has so much potential. I am glad that there is at least an initial fix. The article http://enthusiast.hardocp.com/article.html?art=MTI0NywxLCxoZW50aHVzaWFzdA==
shows that NVIDIA were following the problems and are taking it seriously. I feel enough attention is being given this issue that I am now trying to find a Striker Ex again. New Egg has just posted an ETA date, 12/25. Merry Christmas.
