Nvidia EVGA 7900GTO $249 It's back........

Looks like a flat $12 shipped rate at tigerdirect, which brings the total to $261.98. Still pretty hot if it will hit gtx speeds.

Hmmm, I'm not sure if I should get this or the x1950xt I've been eyeing at newegg.

If it's the 256MB version, go with the GTO. The 512MB X1950XT spanks the 7900GTX.

This is the ati card I'm looking at on newegg, adding an accelx2 cooler it's still $20 cheaper than that GTO after rebate. Here's a comparison of the two at gpureview.

Tough decision...

Try to wait a little longer and get 8800GTS when they hit $300

Didn't think these would ever pop up again. Solid card, but this is the same price I paid at TD 4 full months ago... not nearly the deal it was back then.

My next video card (which I hope to get a minimum of 2 years service out of it) will have a minimum 512MB ram like this one. Vista and new games will swallow up 256MB quite easily and since you can't upgrade ram on a video card you might as well get the extra now. Especially at this price.

... back when 7900GTX were $400?

I'll pass on this and wait for 320MB 8800GTS at $300 and other cards to drop in price due to that.
