NVidia DSR for desktop?

How do you enable this? GTX950 2GB, Win10 1607 64-bit. Not finding a simple switch to enable DSR. It was really easy to enable VSR with AMD, just one click to enable it, then I could go to Display Properties and change the desktop resolution.

Edit: My 24" HDTV / monitor, is apparently detected as an HDTV, "HDMI - HDTV", and the list of resolutions to choose from, only goes up to "1080P, 1920x1080".

Edit: I checked the "Help File" (WinHelp) for NV Control Panel, and there's NO MENTION of "DSR" anywhere, I both searched, and checked the Index.

You can use DSR on your desktop, but it will significantly lower IQ and text legibility. Try it out, pretty blurry. Native resolution is best for desktop usage.

Thanks, that did it, changing / selecting the "DSR Factor" under the "3D Settings". Then changing the Desktop Resolution.

I have to admit, even with enabling "YCbCr 4:4:4" mode, and a 1.78x DSR Factor to get 2560x1440 desktop resolution, the NV DSR solution is MUCH LESS readable, than the AMD solution. I even played with "DSR Smoothness". It defaults to 33%, I tried 50% and 20%. Still not much improvement.

DSR isn't the same as Downsampling. It doesn't have the same performance hit either. If you want a pure downsample solution, you should make a custom resolution and have the downsampling done on the GPU. I don't know if VSR is any different.
