NVidia Drivers

I was using the lastest drivers from nvidia.com. I have an ELSA Gladiac GeForce2 GTS. When i play counter-strike on 1280 resolution the screen becomes wierd. what's going on? this started to happen after i got the new drivers

1.) What exacly is "weird" about it?
2.) Did you COMPLETELY remove the old drivers before installing the new ones?

either the screen goes haywire and you cant really see anything, it's all fuzzy, or you can see the icons and the toolbar from the desktop.
