Nvidia drivers - Triple buffering, also V-Sync!

hi. I have a question regarding the new nvidia drivers. Theres a "triple buffer" feature that has to do with V-Sync, and im not sure if i should turn it on or not, because im not aware of what it really does, in terms of performance and image quality. Also, if i keep my v-sync on, should i turn it on? and likewise if i keep my v-sync off, should i just turn the triple buffer off. thanks. Any info would help.

Probably a little more than you wanted to know but if you are still asking questions like this, I suggest you read that through all the way.

Triple Buffering: If set to On, this setting allows your overall performance to improve when Vertical Synchronization (VSync) is enabled in games. Therefore if you often enable VSync - whether in the in-game settings or in the Nvidia Control Panel, it is recommended you enable Triple Buffering as well. However note that using Triple Buffering may cause problems for graphics cards with lower Video RAM, so disable this option if you?re experiencing problems such as mouse lag in games.

To put it simply, triple buffering alows some of the ram on the videocard to be used to provide more consistant framerate with vsync on. Without vsync the option does absolutely nothing, so it doesn't matter whether you have the option on or not unless you are using vsync.
