Nvidia drivers for Herc.Prophet II Mx video card?

Hi all,
A couple of weeks ago I installed a new video card...Guillemont Herc. Prophet II Mx and went to Guillemont's site and d/l the most recent drivers, ver.5.32.
I have heard that the Nvidia drivers ver. 6.47 are the best for this card and am wondering if I should install them?
What do you think?

Yes, if you install one of Nvidia's Detonator 3 (6.xx) reference drivers, you will see some healthy frame rate boosts, so I'd definitely recommend installing the ones from Nvidia's site 🙂

6.31 are apparently the most stable of the lot. I'm having problems though

Hmm...is there a problem going back to the original drivers? Have you noticed any difference in framerates with the Nvidia drivers?

anything from the 6.xx Nvida (Detonator 3) based drivers, will give you a healthy frame rate boost over the 5.32 drivers that you are currently using.

I gave the Nvidia drivers a try and guess what..slowed down my redraws in Links 2001 (golf) and sped them up in Q3. Go figure.
Call me stupid but shouldn't there be a control panel for the geforce card?

Right click on the Desktop. click settings then click the advanced tab and you will see all the settings.
They have files all over the Internet for tweaking your GF2, ones called nvmax that will allow you to oc/that puppy.
