Well, that's exactly what I'm doing, and it doesn't work so great for me

The changes just do not appear to take effect.
The reason I say this is, I move the slider, hit Test, then Apply. The slider stays where it is, but the hardware monitor never reflects a chance in Core speed. I've closed and reopened the monitor and that didn't work. I closed and restarted RivaTuner... same thing. The Core
always shows 561 MHz. The Memory core, I've gotten to change once or twice. I don't know how. Move the slider, it stays. Move the slider some more, it stays. Look away, do something, look back, and the monitor shows a higher Memory core. Fiddle with it some more, and it's back to stock.
So... what do I need to do to make the overclocking take effect?
