Ok, so I have been using the 97.94's for a while now. Just updated to the latest 158.19's. But after doing so, the fan control adjustment in Ntune did not and will not work. The box to check is greyed out. So until I figure this out, I rolled back to the 97.94's.

Anyone else with this problem ? Or know of a way to fix it ?

I'm not having that particular problem but I am having quite a few problems with graphical corruption in Windows on these drivers, even after a fresh re-install of the operating system. Driving me crazy and it's like support for the other Windows XP drivers has been discontinued. :(

OT: Congratulations on quitting smoking. My mother did the same two months ago and her health and general attitude have vastly improved, not to mention all the cash that she's saved now.

It's grayed out for me as well.

Question for JPB: What can you do with nTune fan control? I want to set my 8800 to scale the fan speed with GPU temperature, as right now it just seems to stay the same all the time (67% I think?) and it is very quiet, which is fine for desktop (it idles at 58c) but I want it to ramp up during gaming as I have the card OC'd. How can I do this with nTune (assuming they fix it in the next release, or I roll back to 97.xx)

Thanks!

Well, I'm not sure you can control the fan speed via temp in Ntune. If there is a way...I do not know of it. So far, i'm back with the 97.94's. And the fan control only stays at one setting regardless of the core temp.

Btw, is there a better program out there that will control this fan the way ATI Tool controls for Radeon Cards ? That is one thing I really miss about ATI.
