If I use a driver version greater than v6.50, then I can only get 60 hz refresh rate in all resolutions. Even though it says I have it set to 100 hz in the display properties. I've used hztool to set all the refresh rates and they are correctly stored in the registery, but it seems the drivers completly ignore them.

If I go back to v6.50 the refresh rates work correctly. Can someone PLEASE tell me what I need to do to get windows to use the correct refresh rates.

I have a Asus 7700 Deluxe (geforce 2 gts) and windows ME. It also did it with the Geforce 2 MX I had it in before.

Right now I'm using the 28.32 drivers just released. But stuck at 60hz in all modes.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

That fix is also related to Windows 2k/XP. Also since my asus does have the stereo 3d glasses, I've played with the 3d glasses drivers and it seems some games will not run even in the "enable by hotkey" mode. Such as Wizardry 8 will crash on execution unless they are set to disabled, which makes their fix not so great. If someone is having the problem in windows 2k/xp, the best fix for that is to use the hacked french display drivers and use the nvidia refresh rate fix program.

But the problem I'm having windows ME, has nothing to do with that windows 2k/xp problem.
