Nvidia Driver Problems!

Howdy,

To be quick:

Using Asus A8N-E Motherboard. Seems to be decent so far.

Problems:

1) Cannot download files. They are ALL corrupted.
2) Stop Errors. Happen seemingly randomly, every now and then. Not too often.
3) Could not install new ForceWare 6.86 drivers. Had to boot to safe mode...

Any ideas? I can do everything else normally - play games, install programs, surf the web, etc.

Somebody throw me a bone! 🙂

Choose 'last good configuration' or use 'system restore' to go back. Then reinstall the driver. Normally registry repair software will not fix the issue!

Check to see if you have the nv firewall installed and enabled. If so, disable it and uninstall it. 99% certain this is the source of your corrupted downloads if it is on your comp.

Thank you both 🙂 I will check out the firewall, as I am fairly sure I do have it installed, and I do remember some problems with it!
