Can't download driver from Nvidia.com for 9600GSO.
Go to www.nvidia.com.
Click on USA.
Click on toolbar, drivers.
Comes up with selections, select
GeForce
GeForce 9 Series
XP
English
Click Search
Nothing happens, the screen jumps and blinks a bit, and you're left at the same screen. Doesn't go to the driver download screen.
Select GeForce 8 Series, same deal.
But select GeForce 200 series, and a secondary selection box appears, allowing you to select the exact model card, and when you click Search, it goes to the driver download screen.
Conclusion: NVidia busted their web site. Let's watch and see how long it takes to fix it.
Edit: Solution
Look for the link down below on the page, "Beta and archived drivers".
On that page, they also have the category selection selectors, but this time, the card model is permanently there, it doesn't disappear like it does when using the normal driver selector. In this case, you can select 9600GSO, and then it pulls up a list of all of the drivers, including the 195.62 WHQL which is the one I was looking for.
