Nvidia Detonator Drivers

I have a Visiontek Geforce3 Ti200 Video card, and in Windows XP or Windows 2000 and sometimes Windows 98se right after I install the Nvidia Detonator drivers I reboot the computer and right when windows starts, it puts every piece of hardware into sleep mode and restarts the computer, and it keeps doing that until i boot into sleep mode and uninstall them and put on the native windows default driver. Is there a fix to this problem? Any help is appreciated.
