Nvidia Detonator 4 drivers late?

I was under the impresion that the Nvidia drivers "det4" were goning to be released about 3 weeks ago. Anyone have any news on this, as I can not locate them on Nvidia's site, or find links when searching here at Anandtech.

Any help would be apreciated.

I remember reading Nvidia said sometime in September so real soon now .

Hmmm, I looked through by hand, and searched for Nvidia, aand even just Det4 and Detonator 4. Oh well. Even senior members make mistakes. I even saw a diamond member make a double post once :Q

What I don't understand is how they were leaked for testing, but couldn't be leaked to the public? Can't someone who tested them out just pass them on to one friend? That way, that friend could pass them on, and that friend could pass them on, and so on.....

Or someone could just post them up and suddenly have the busiest web-site.

I'm guessing they will come out with the release of the latest GF3 MX/Ultra cards. Middle of this month is my guess.

They weren't leaked for testing... supposedly any site that got a radeon 8500 for preview was allowed to preview the detonator 4's in their comparison. The sites that received the Det 4's probably won't leak them because if they do (and nVidia finds out) they probably won't get a Geforce Ti when they are available.

If you check out Reactor Critical, the Detonator 4 drivers are supposed to be released on September 17th, along side the Titanium

That would be a nice early birthday gift for me from Nvidia if they released it on that date.
