NVidia delays Hybrid SLI

Ahh so this is why I can't run Crysis on one GPU with everything on high and above 50FPS at a cost below $300, all the R+D was poured into this new "Hybrid Technology". That's quite an accomplishment that they have been working on.

most enthusiasts wouldn't want to buy the low end motherboards required for this anyway.

Well, the one good thing would be the ability to completely turn off the discrete video card. I keep my computer on constantly but only game maybe 1 hour every 2-3 days so turning off the video card would be nice, especially ones that can't clock down like this 8800GT.

This only works on chipsets that supports hybrid SLi. I.e 8200/8300 series (MCP78), 720a and 730a

For now. By this time next year all Nvidia chipsets will feature an IGP. For the high end boards, this will be for HybridPower rather than GeForceBoost(SLI).
