Hi
I just recieved my GF4 ti4200 today and I was hoping I could watch movies and play games again but no 🙁 The problem is that whenever I try and play a movie or a game Windows freezes. The same things happens when I use my old GF2MX but there's no problem if I use a Voodoo3 or a ATI Rage Pro. I've also tried putting the two GF cards into another machine and they work perfectly well there and they also work perfectly well when I use Linux (RedHat 7.3) instead of WinXP. I use the newest official Detonator driver and I don't OC or have any heat problems.
The rest of my computer looks like this:
Duron 800Mhz
MSI K7T Turbo-R
768MB PC133 RAM
SB Live
Maxtor D740 40GB disk
Plextor 12/10/32S SCSI burner
Tekram SCSI Controller
El cheapo D-link NIC
Any suggestions on how to fix the damn thing?
