I can't express how frustrated I am right now. I was on my computer playing battlefield 2 and I received an IM and it minimized the game. The system went to 16 colors and a whacky resolution, so I restarted. Upon restarted I get this error in DOS:

"
Verifying DMI Data Pool...........................

My system specs are as follows:
Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9
AMD Athlon 64 3500+
2x512MB corsair XMS DDR400
250GB Samsung HDD
Leadtek Geforce 6600gt
NEC 3520a dvd-rw

I'm not sure but this might have something to do with me recently installing the latest Nvidia chipset drivers (whatever ones were released july 15th) a couple a days ago. I restarted a few times after installing the drivers and it worked though. Any suggestions are welcome. I can't even get the damn thing into windows xp (btw im on another pc right now).

Hmmm I think I've managed to fix it. I enabled RAID, restarted, then disabled RAID and restarted again. It's booting slowly but atleast I'm getting to windows now and I can backup my data.
